At Wallet - Training & Experiences Project, we have dedicated our work to a burning passion that senses the need to empower young people with knowledge and skills that can unlock their full potential in finance, so they can achieve their life goals. Our story started when 3 committed people, united by their vision of youth development, decided to work together for change.
🇪🇺 Funded with the Support of the European Commission 🇪🇺
The work objectives that we pursue are closely related to our three key priorities: empowering challenged youth, our methods are to be tailor-made to meet their tremendous needs, and the tools that are to be used by practitioners with youth for inclusiveness. Come join us on this journey of transformation, to toil hard in a bid to make a change in the lives of these youth. Together, we will co-create a brighter future through financial education and the use of innovative learning methods.
🌈 The inspiration of our story comes out from the struggles of youth empowerment. Personal witnessing of the transformational impact of financial literacy towards the youth at the margins states everything. These credibly great personalities, whom one expects to have limitless potential, just need a lending hand with a little light to be included financially. And as a team came together, the realization came with it that we can indeed change how we support such young people.
📚 We empower youth workers with the tools to link up with young people in ways that better their thriving in the world today. While non-formal education (NFE) methodologies like Erasmus+ have unquestionably become popular, one cannot but perfectly understand the issues that one has to navigate in this frame. The actual NFE manuals are of huge value to us, but we feel the necessity of compiling a manual that perfectly combines NFE methodologies with a sole emphasis on bolstering youth and their knowledge regarding their needs and financial literacy.
💪 Empower 150 young people with issues in our partner communities in an 18-month journey to develop their financial and self-understanding competences. Train at least 60 youth workers from our partner communities with advanced competences in training. They will be able to supercharge the financial and self-understanding abilities of the disadvantaged youth by using NFE methods and our innovative tools. Raising the awareness of the transformative impact of the financial management and self-understanding workshops in support of the integration of disadvantaged youth into society over an 18-month period of the project in our partner communities.
🎲 Let’s Unlock the Future of Youth Education! That’s the beginning of our travel, having in mind the welcome of an NFE (Non-Formal Education) manual, but our travel doesn’t stop here. Our NFE Manual is a complete guide that fuses the principles of financial education with non-traditional but engaging and effective methods of teaching. That’s not just another textbook. That is a roadmap to financial empowerment!
🎮 We believe in the power of board games, and we use it to engage and educate the participants. Our board game is not just an activity; it is a game-changer in youth education because it leads to open conversations, discussions, and active participation among the young. We will be embedding critical financial literacy and personal development understanding within youth through gameplay.
🗝️ But wait! We have meant for our Escape Room Kit to be designed with accessibility in mind—for your NGOs and Schools, for your institutions. Remove all the barriers to running your very own educational escape rooms. We have well-written instructions coupled with a comprehensive kit, and setup is a walk in the park. 💡 Unlock the power of learning through immersive experiences! 🚀
